Jormuntide in Palworld is a huge water and dragon element pal that many suspect is highly inspired by Gyarados from the Pokémon franchise. With its level 4 watering work suitability, this large dragon-like pal, when placed in the player’s base, will ensure that structures requiring water to produce items are always adequately supplied.
Being the only pal with the highest level of watering, Jormuntide has become a target for every pal tamer aiming to make things function more efficiently at their base. However, breeding it is much easier than catching a wild one, especially in the early days when the player might not be well-equipped with weapons and strong fire pals.
In this article, we guide players on how to breed Jormuntide easily in Palworld.
Palworld Breeding Guide: How to get Jormuntide
Breeding in Palworld requires the player to set up a breeding farm once they have reached level 19 and place a male and a female pal in the newly created structure. Then, the last step is to place cakes in the farm and wait for the eggs to be formed.
To ensure that the egg created is a Huge Dragon Egg that is sure to hatch a Jormuntide pal, players can use these pal combinations in their breeding farms:

Where to find Jormuntide in Palworld?
The Jormuntide pal can be considered relatively rare, as only an Alpha version of this pal spawns at two different locations on the Palpagos islands of Palworld.
To find Jormuntide, players need to teleport to the Investigators Fork fast travel point and move southeast to find the lake where it resides.
The second location of Jormuntide is much farther east on the map. To get there, players can teleport to the Mossanda Forest fast travel location and move east to reach the part of the river with large rib-like fossils that seem to belong to a huge ancient pal.
What are Jormuntide’s weaknesses in Palworld?
Being a water and dragon element pal, Jormuntide’s weaknesses are pals that are Fire and Ice types. Here are some of the best Fire and Ice element pals that will aid the player in their fight against the Jormuntide Alpha boss:
- Suzaku
- Blazehowl
- Reptyro
- Blazamut
- Faleris
- Chillet
- Sibelyx
- Cryolinx
- Frostallion
Some of the pals on this list can be considered mid or end-game pals. However, to defeat the level 45 boss easily, such pals are needed. Players without strong pals can always participate in the fight to make things easier for their pals and utilize strong long-ranged weapons.
