As players venture into the nation of war, Natlan, they will soon realize that the Traveler is incapable of resonating with the Statues of The Seven in Natlan. Because of this, players cannot unlock the Pyro Traveler in Genshin Impact immediately. With the Genshin Impact 5.3 update, HoYoverse has finally added the Pyro Traveler to the game.
However, unlocking the Pyro Traveler isn’t as simple as it might seem. The Pyro Traveler is locked behind Natlan’s Archon Quest series. To unlock the Pyro Traveler, you must complete the “Where All Hopes Lie” quest in Archon Quest Chapter V: Act V, “Incandescent Ode of Resurrection”. Follow this guide to learn more about the unlocking criteria for the Pyro Traveler and how to obtain their constellations.
How to Unlock Pyro Traveler in Genshin Impact
You can unlock the Pyro Traveler by progressing through Act V, “Incandescent Ode of Resurrection,” in Archon Quest Chapter V. To start Act V of Archon Quest Chapter V, you must be at least Adventure Rank 40 and have completed the “All Fires Fuel the Flame” Interlude Act quest under Archon Quest Chapter V.
If you haven’t progressed through the Archon Quests from previous regions, don’t worry—HoYoverse allows you to quick-start Archon Quest Chapter V. However, even with the quick start, you will still need to spend many hours completing Acts I-IV and the “All Fires Fuel the Flame” quest before unlocking Act V, “Incandescent Ode of Resurrection.” You must then complete the entire quest to unlock the Pyro Traveler in Genshin Impact.
How to Unlock Pyro Traveler Constellations
As with previous Traveler resonances, the Pyro Traveler also has six constellations available for free. To unlock the Pyro Traveler’s constellations, you must first complete the Act V quest, “Incandescent Ode of Resurrection,” in Genshin Impact. Once the quest is completed, you will unlock the “Throne of the Primal Fire,” where you can use Blazing Flint Ore to obtain the Pyro Traveler’s Stella Fortuna.
Blazing Flint Ore is the final reward for reaching the maximum reputation level (level 4) with a Natlan tribe. Since there are six tribes in Natlan, you will need to raise the reputation of all six tribes to level 4 to collect six Blazing Flint Ores, enabling you to unlock C6 Pyro Traveler.
In Genshin Impact 5.3, players can unlock only five constellations for the Pyro Traveler, as the sixth tribe, the Collective of Plenty, is expected to be introduced in the 5.4 update. Players will be able to unlock C6 Pyro Traveler after the release of the sixth Natlan tribe.
