Two reliable Genshin Impact leakers, Astutesmodding and donut leaker, have shared new information about Capitano on the r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit. They claim to have discovered in-game files related to Capitano’s sword, Antumbra. These files are similar to the partner summoning mechanics, such as how Xiangling summons Guoba with her elemental skill.
Additionally, Capitano’s in-game files are listed alongside those of Ifa, a Natlan character from the Flower-Feather Clan, who is rumored to release in Natlan according to leaks. With two trustworthy leakers corroborating Capitano’s skill-related files, Harbinger fans now have a reason to hope for Capitano’s inclusion as a playable character in the future.
However, Capitano’s release may not happen anytime soon. Genshin Impact has already teased seven new characters expected to release after the version 5.3 update, and none of their silhouettes resemble Capitano. Unless HoYoverse surprises players with an unexpected announcement, fans might have to wait until Nod-Krai or even Snezhnaya for Capitano’s debut.
