CloverPit, the roguelike nightmare slot machine game that has already gained over 400,000 wishlists on Steam, is getting a small delay. Originally planned for release on September 3, developer Panik Arcade and publisher Future Friends Games have pushed the CloverPit launch date back to September 26.
The reason? Hollow Knight: Silksong. The highly anticipated sequel is set to release on September 4, just one day after CloverPit’s original date. The devs explained the decision with humor, saying: “We like a gamble, but this one is too risky lol.”
CloverPit pushed back to avoid Silksong launch
In a statement, the duo behind Panik Arcade said they wanted to give both themselves and players time to enjoy Silksong. They also noted that the extra weeks will allow them to polish CloverPit even further before launch.
Described as the “demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette,” CloverPit has gone viral several times and even topped the Steam demo charts. With 700,000 demo downloads and a place in Steam’s top 90 most-wishlisted games, it is one of the most anticipated indie horror releases of 2025.
Fans will now have to wait a few more weeks, but CloverPit officially arrives on September 26, 2025.
