Elden Ring Nightreign, FromSoft’s successful co-op multiplayer spin-off game, is set to get a DLC on December 4, 2025. Back during its launch, FromSoftware had already confirmed that Nightreign would be receiving a DLC later this year, and it is finally coming.
Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hallows will have our Nightfarers returning to Limveld to fight a new enemy titled The Dreglord. While we don’t know much about The Dreglord, FromSoft has given us a look at the new playable characters (Nightfarers) coming in the Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hallows DLC. Here’s what we know about the new Nightfarers.
Who are the new Nightfarers in Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hallows?

There are two new Nightfarers coming in The Forsaken Hallows DLC:
Scholar: An academic who walks the Lands Between. Boasting impressive Arcane levels, he gains incredible advantages through battlefield observation.
Undertaker: An abbess who was mandated to slay the Nightlord. Boasting impressive Strength and Faith, she sends enemies to the afterlife with ruthless efficiency.
Scholar in Elden Ring Nightreign DLC

Scholar is a character with high Arcane scaling, similar to Executor. A common complaint about Executor has been how his skills are quite different from how his stats work. Scholar is going to be a better pick for players who like to dabble with the Arcane stat in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Instead of focusing on status effects like Bleed, Freeze, and Poison, Scholar has been depicted as using his skills or arts to provide utility and buffs to teammates. Other than this, Scholar is also shown using thrusting swords as his main weapon. He can also use staffs to cast spells, hinting at some sort of Intelligence scaling as well in his kit.
Undertaker in Elden Ring Nightreign DLC

Undertaker is a character with high scaling in Strength and Faith. She is shown wielding a hammer in one hand and a sacred seal in the other. In the trailer, Undertaker is shown using a teleport-like ability to dodge Astel’s grab attack and hit back in a sort of parry style. This might be her skill, making her a strong character against enemies who like to spam grab attacks.
With the addition of Undertaker in the Elden Ring Nightreign DLC, we will have the perfect user for the legendary Marika’s Hammer. If you are not a fan of melee playstyles, you can use her Faith scaling to cast powerful incantations.
That’s it for now. Once the Elden Ring Nightreign DLC releases, we will get more details about how each new Nightfarer performs in The Forsaken Hallows.
