While exploring the Minecraft world, you will come across many different blocks, some of which may also be craftable. If you are new to Minecraft, you may not be familiar with the game’s crafting mechanics.
Crafting is the process of creating a block or any item, usually using a crafting table. There are a handful of items that can be crafted without a crafting table as well, such as torches. The fletching table is a craftable workstation block added to Minecraft with the 1.14 Village & Pillage update. By the end of this article, you will be able to craft this block in your Minecraft world.

Fletching Table in Minecraft
How to craft?
Items needed to craft a fletching table:
- 2x Flint
- 4x Planks of any type(all four need to be the same kind).
How to obtain these items?
Flint: You can obtain flint by mining gravel blocks, trading with novice level fletcher, or from loot chests of ruined portals or villages. There’s a 10% chance that a gravel block will drop a flint upon being mined. Even though the chances are very low, mining gravel is the fastest way of obtaining flint because of how common gravel is.
Wood planks: You can get logs by chopping down trees and then converting them into planks by simply placing them in the crafting grid.
Crafting recipe
Once you have obtained the items, navigate to the closest crafting table and place the items as shown in the above image. The fletching table can then be collected.
What does a Fletching Table do in Minecraft
Unlike any other workstation block, the fletching table does not have a right-click functionality as of version 1.18. However, it can be useful to you in a few other ways. Fletching tables are job site blocks that can be used to convert unemployed villagers (except nitwits) into fletchers.
As fletching tables are wooden blocks, they can also be used as fuel in furnaces and blast furnaces. They can smelt 1.5 items per block. Other than these, there’s one more way in which the fletching table can be used. You can place it under a note block to produce a “bass” sound.
