Anubis in Palworld is an amazing pal known for its unique level 4 Handiwork suitability. Deploying a couple of Anubises at the player’s base significantly increases the progression rate for tasks such as crafting high-tier spheres, weapons, and other items created in production structures.

In this article, we guide players on how to obtain Anubis in Palworld through breeding.

Obtaining a couple of Anubises is beneficial for players who are beyond the early stages of their journey. Multiple Anubises in a base ensure that no handiwork tasks are delayed.

Palworld breeding requires the player to bring together two pals in a breeding farm and place cake in it. Here is a table with various pal combinations involving relatively common pals that players can use in their breeding farms to obtain Huge Rocky eggs that will always hatch into an Anubis:

With sufficient cake in the Palworld player’s breeding farm, there will be multiple Huge Rocky eggs prepared and waiting for the player to take them out in no time. The egg can be placed in the incubator and an anubis will be ready to come out once the incubation period is over.

We recommend players to lower the incubation period in Palworld world settings as it will save a lot of time and is far from the realm of cheating.

Where to find Anubis in Palworld?

Palworld-Anubis-Location

With the easier method of acquiring Anubises covered, let’s delve into the more challenging method that will excite players who enjoy catching pals while exploring.

Unlike most other pals, naturally spawned Anubises can only be encountered as Alpha pals. Players will find Alpha Anubis deep in the Twilight Dunes desert region. To get there, teleport to the Investigator’s Fork fast travel point and head northeast from there.

What are Anubis’s weaknesses in Palworld?

Palworld-Best-Grass-Pals

Being an Alpha boss at level 47, Anubis is a formidable enemy that players cannot defeat unprepared. However, knowing it is a Ground Element pal, players can form a team of pals with elements that have an advantage against it.

We recommend players and their chosen pals be at least level 43 before engaging in a grueling battle with the Alpha Anubis. Since Grass element pals are strong against Ground element pals, here are some Grass pals that we recommend having in their party:

  • Robinquill
  • Mammorest
  • Verdash
  • Mossanda
  • Wumpo Botan
  • Lyleen

However, a team of elementally strong pals in Palworld alone is not enough to take down the level 47 Anubis. Players should also strengthen their attack power by carrying strong weapons that can deal damage from afar, keeping the player out of the opponent pal’s attack radius.
